The fifth annual Amanda McPherson Foundation "Life is in Charge" Family Walk and Carnival will take place Sun., Oct. 19 at Rancho Madera Community Park in Wood Ranch, 556 Lake Park Drive, Simi Valley. Registration opens at 9:30 a.m. The walk is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
